The Shimano Stradic range of reels is iconic in Australia and, new in 2011/2012, Shimano have relaunched one of its old favourites with the Stradic FJ series that have a selection of models ideally suited for saltwater fishing. The range comes in the original perl white colouring and a host of Shimano’s new technologies that will breathe new life into a classic Shimano reel.

The range comes in a large selection of sizes suited to lighter freshwater use up to larger offshore fishing applications. With sizing from 4000 right up to the larger 8000 model, these reels will be perfect for offshore fisherman chasing larger pelagic or reef fishing.

The series also features X-Ship, which not only makes the fishing experience much more enjoyable with ultra-smooth retrieve’s, but also give you more grunt when cranking in those larger saltwater species.
