The Shimano Sora groupset was completely revamped, featuring the latest Shimano technology. New Sora features a 9-speed drivetrain, comfortable and easy to use shifters and a high quality design.
The shifters have an integrated optical gear display and reach adjustment shims for use with smaller hands. The rear derailleur has a capacity of 31T and can be used with compact cranks also. It has a wide link for extra rigidity.
FC-3450 is the new Sora compact crankset with a gearing of 50-34 teeth. FC-3403 is a triple Sora crankset with a gearing of 50-39-30T. These cranksets have a 2-piece construction with an integrated bottom bracket. They feature an alloy outer chainring and following crank arm length will be available: 165, 170 and 175mm.
BR-3400 is the new Sora caliper brake. It has a Dual-Pivot design and toe-in adjustable brake shoes.
This stylish road component group will for appeal to many entry level and enthusiastic riders. The new Sora group will be available in the market from June 2007.
