Sales and Product Co-ordinator

Shimano Australia Fishing located In Taren Point, is synonymous for providing world class rods and reels throughout Australia. Due to an internal promotion we have a fantastic opportunity to join the team as our new product and sales coordinator.

Your mission is to provide ongoing support to the Product and Sales teams.

On a day to day basis your tasks may include;

  • Assisting with the preparation of sales submissions and product flyers
  • Producing sales and product data extracted into excel with integrity and accuracy
  • Update product data
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and assist with product launches
  • Complete Ad Hoc duties as per instructed


To be considered for the role it would be expected that you have the following attributes;

  • At least 3 years experience in a support role preferably in a  commercial/wholesale environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to multitask, use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the fishing industry or a genuine love for fishing
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or similar a plus

Shimano is a global enterprise renowned for its high quality fishing and tackle gear and world recognised top performance cycling components.

Located in the Sutherland Shire this new state of the art warehouse facility offers the latest technology in automated systems. As a result of our rapid expansion  we have an opportunity for 2 experienced store people to join the distribution team.

We would envisage one of the successful candidates will hold a LF/LO license, have a minimum of 3 years warehousing experience. We would hope the other person has some exposure to automation, voice picking and general warehouse operations.

You will be a team player, be flexible to start and finish times and rise to the challenge of a fast paced workplace. Duties may vary from voice picking, to packing, to assisting the inwards goods and replenishment teams.
