Inventory/Customer Service

Shimano Australia Fishing has an opening for a customer centric and highly detailed customer service/ inventory coordinator to join their ever growing repair and service team.

The reel and service department is a bustling, fast paced and sometimes demanding area to work. Shimano's customers have high expectations of service levels and as a result your attention to detail and can do attitude is paramount in securing this role.

On a day to day basis you will receive telephone enquiries from all stakeholders both internal and external. You will be responsible for the ordering and importing of parts from our overseas factories as well as liaise with other Shimano offices to source necessary parts.

You will oversee the management and stocktake of these parts, liaising closely with the reel technicians to ensure we have the required amount of stock available at all times.

Your understanding of inventory control, computer literacy and excellent phone manner will all be considerations when appointing the right person.  We are looking for a  team player with exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of going well beyond the expectations of our customers.

Your previous experience in customer service, inventory and or purchasing, as well as your strong numeracy and literacy skills will help you secure this role.
